Transition

Little Lever School is proud of our links with our partner primary schools.  We regularly host a series of exciting and stimulating events that are designed to provide enjoyable and memorable learning experiences for KS1 and KS2 pupils.  We are consistently seeking more ways in which we can support and work with partner primaries in order to help develop successful learners who are ready for the challenges that lie ahead of them. 

As a school we provide a range of curriculum support for our primary partners. Little Lever staff are timetabled to support the delivery of the primary curriculum in subjects such as PE, Music, Science and French. Through this transition programme, pupils are regular visitors to our school and experience lessons taught in enhanced science laboratories, our new media centre and brand new food tech base.

Every half term we host a range of challenging learning opportunities for our partner primary school pupils. These events always have a learning focus such as literacy and numeracy, but they allow pupils to learn in a creative and fun-filled environment.
