Standard Assesment
At Little Lever School, all students complete two Standard Assessment periods. These assessment windows for Year 7 – 10 are completed within classrooms during regular lessons. Students will complete standard assessments under exam style conditions for each subject across the curriculum. Year 11 will complete both Standard Assessment 1 and 2, under GCSE Mock Exam conditions – sitting exams in the sports hall, conference room or appropriate setting to replicate the GCSE exams.
Standard Assessment Launch
Students will receive a formal launch assembly, where the whole year group will be supported on what to expect. Students will complete revision planners during PM PREP after their launch assemblies.
Standard Assessment PREPARE
All year groups will have a minimum of two weeks between the launch assembly and their standard assessments beginning. During the PREPARE window, students have the opportunity to revise in the Library before school and during lunch time, as well as using Nightclub or the Library to complete revision.
Standard Assessments
All standard assessments will run for a two-week period, and students will complete their tests in classroom during their regular student timetable. Students will receive in-depth reports later in the term after each assessment period. Keep an eye out for those ‘Gain a Gold’ marks!
