Options
Our Year 9 GCSE Options Process begins each February and students will receive all the information they need in order to make an informed choice before choosing their GCSE options.
Students will receive a letter in school, ahead of Options Evening and will be required to select three preferred options and three back-up choices as well. These must be different subjects.
Please note the following key dates and deadlines for your diaries. These are for the current academic year.
Wednesday 25th February 2026: Year 9 Options Assembly – students receive a paper copy Option Choice Forms
Thursday 26th February 2026: Year 9 Options Information Evening 4.30pm – 7.30pm for parents and carers
Thursday 12th March 2026: Year 9 Parents’ / Carers’ Evening 4.30pm – 7.30pm
Friday 27th March 2026: Deadline for Option Choice Form 2026 to be returned to school
