Greater Manchester Integrated Vaccination and Immunisation Service has a dedicated School Aged Immunisation Team made up of highly skilled staff who are experienced in offering vaccinations to all high school aged children in Bolton.
Following on from our flu vaccinations earlier in the term, the team would like to share the below message.
Dear Parent/Carer
Thank you for support so far in protecting your children and the wider community from the Flu Virus.
For those schools that we have already been into, the team will be offering a further catch up in school before the end of year. If your child has missed their vaccination or you would like to opt in for your child to receive this, there is still time. We can either see your child in school at the catch up or you can attend one of our clinics over the October Half Term. Please see poster attached.
If we are not due to go into your child’s school until after half term, there is still time to return a consent form. Please contact the team if you would like to discuss how to give consent for your child. If you would prefer for your child to be seen in a clinic appointment, please see the poster attached with dates and venues and how to book.
