Summer school premium
All new Year 7 students were invited to the summer school, and 120 attended in total. Government funding provided free school meals every day for each child, catch-up lessons in maths, science and English delivered by the staff at Little Lever, a number of subject workshops and enritchement opportunities as well as an adventure day with archery and rock climbing among other activities. The daily lessons focused on literacy and numeracy to help bridge the gap in learning for Year 6 students affected by lockdown. Sports activities were part of every day programme to support the students physical development.
