Non-Uniform Day: Friday 18th July

A message from our student Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister:

Last week, we requested a Cobra meeting with Mr Mckeon because many of our students had asked about a non-uniform day on the last day of term.

Mr Mckeon explained that at Little Lever School, we try to make it fair for everyone and this includes students who may not feel comfortable, for a variety of reasons, on non-uniform days – we want everyone to feel happy and supported when they come into school.

In addition, on non-uniform days, our attendance drops across the school and attendance is vital for us to help every person to achieve things they never thought they could.

It is for these reasons that we don’t have more non-uniform days across the year.

We are pleased to announce that, on this occasion, we will be having a non-uniform day on the last day of term. We ask our fellow students to remember to be kind, work hard and take responsibility as normal.
