As a part of their GCSE English syllabus Year 10 students are studying J.B. Priestley’s An Inspector Calls. Earlier this month, the English department took seventy-three Year 10 students to the Lowry Theatre in Salford Quays to watch a performance of the play. This helps bring the plot, characters and themes to life in the minds of students.
Every student conducted themselves impeccably and asked some really interesting questions about elements of the production afterwards.
