There will be road closures affecting the school bus service from Monday 8th July – Friday 19th July.
The series of road closures will affect Tong Road, Dove Bank Road and Radcliffe Road in Little Lever are due to start on Monday 8th July. During these works, traffic, including bus services, will be unable travel along these roads. This will affect the 916 school bus service operated by Diamond between Monday 8th July and Friday 19th July
Transport for Greater Manchester and Diamond have agreed that this service will operate along its usual route up to Bradley Fold Garden Centre and then divert along Radcliffe Moor Road, Countess Lane and Stopes Road to resume its normal route from Market Street to the school. This will mean that the service will not serve stops along Bradley Lane, Tong Road, Victory Road or Ainsworth Road. This diversion will be in place in both directions.
Whilst this may affect a small number of pupils, the lack of suitable alternative routes unfortunately makes this the best diversionary route option.
These closures may also affect other regular bus routes. Please check the Bee Network app or website for further information.
