The science curriculum at key stage 3 broadly follows the national curriculum with some additions in order to promote ethics.
The order of teaching covers firstly the underlying principles of science and then builds upon that at both key stages. Time is built into every topic in order to identify areas for development and revisit them so that students are confident in their knowledge and application. At numerous points in every topic there are interleaving lessons that reinforce the key principles. Students are taught at the pace that is right for them so that no student should be left behind or held back.
