In The News – Train to Teach
Little Lever School recently appeared in The Bolton News for our Train to Teach, School-Centred Initial Teacher Training programme.
Little Lever Train to Teach is an official Teach First Training Provider.
The programme starts in September 2024, but is open for applications NOW! Trainees will qualify fully with a PGCE and QTS qualifications, so you can go on to teach anywhere in the UK.
Applicants must have a 2:2 degree or above, and a full A-Lever (or equivalent) in the subject they wish to teach. For example, an applicant who has a Media and Film Studies degree, but has an A-Level in English, would be able to apply to teach English as in order to complete the degree you will have good use of the skills to teach English – further, this applicant could look to teach Media Studies as a second subject in the future.
