Longest Golf Day for Macmillan Nurses

As the leaders of Character at Little Lever School, Mr Morris and Mr Lloyd have decided to try and raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, whilst maintaining the government guidelines of social distancing.

They will be partaking in the World Longest Golf Day, consisting of four rounds of golf in a day, totalling around a 20-mile walk, as well as numerous golf shots in the process. With everything going on in the current climate, Little Lever wish to try and give back to those charities who are giving vital support, whilst potentially going under the radar in the current climate, to enable their excellent work to continue.

With Macmillan being a charity the school support as one of their school ‘houses’, we hope people can donate generously, but every penny will count, and all donations are greatly received. The competition will be fierce, there could be some questionable golf, but most importantly it will help support Macmillan in their quest to help those with Cancer!

We have created an Instagram account “@LL_Character” where we will update with polls and videos on the day, as well as any upcoming charity and house events so feel free to follow and track the progress!
