This week saw the full opening of our new library in school. Students can access this brilliant resource from 8am every morning and after-school and during lunchtimes. The library is also used for our Reading Routes lessons as a part of our English curriculum.
Students have been fully trained and inducted on how to use the library respectfully and how the lend books using their lunch cards to book them out for a month. Ms Gee, our librarian, has been working incredibly hard on organising over 10,000 books of all genres for every student to access.
We’ve alrady had lots of visitors already. Watch this space for upcoming library events and competitions we have planned over the coming weeks and months.
