On the weeks beginning 30th November and 7th December 2020 all students will be outside for their PE lessons due to year 11 exams. Please refer to our updated kit list for items we have added as we are spending a lot of lessons outside due to the pandemic.
If the weather is cold gloves and hats may also be worn (no baseball caps). All year 7 to 9 students will also be taking part in the interhouse cross country and Bolton virtual cross country championships. They will do this as part of their two lessons and then continue with their normal outdoor activity.
Options students will take part in the activity and will be told the date they will be running this by their class teacher as this can count towards one of their scores for practical assessment.
Please encourage your child to bring water.
Anyone suffering from asthma must bring in their inhaler as usual. Please be aware the run will be on grass so suitable footwear boots or trainers (not new trainers) will be required and a plastic bag to put them in afterwards. They will run the course twice over the two weeks and their times go towards the two competitions. Their personal goals should be to beat their time the second time they run the course.
