Little Lever School is looking, in conjunction with Pets as Therapy, to introduce Read to Dogs in school. The Read to Dogs scheme helps improve literacy skills and well-being in young people.
We are looking for a volunteer/volunteers to visit school with their dog for 2 hours per week. Any fit and healthy dog can become a PAT pet. Pets must have lived with their owner for over 6 months, be aged 9 months or over and pass the PAT temperament assessment.
