Progress Star Awards: Part 3

Our Progress Stars Awards are nominated by staff to students who have made significant improvements in all aspects of school life – step targets progress, attendance, effort, our habits, etc. Nominees receive 5 points and a Progress Star badge to wear on their blazer with pride!

We are delighted to share with you our third set of nominees…

Jade Williams 9T, Kayden Walne 9T, Cohen King 9L, William Walne 9R, Jo-Ann Wallworth Lomas 9R, Ethan Turney 9L, Ben Fletcher 8, Kai Mason 7l, Kai Barlow 7E and Oscar Sharples 9R

Ms Grellier, Associate Assitant Principal has nominated these students, stating:

“We have been testing all students’ reading ages this term and I am absolutely delighted that these students have improved their standard age reading score by 10 points or more. This is a result of their dedication in attending the 8.30am Reading Sessions.”

Denay Openshaw Year 10

Mr Davies, Vice Principal writes; “I’d like to nominate Denay Openshaw for a Progress Star Award for a fantastic attitude to school. After some difficulties, Denay has turned things around brilliantly.”

Demi-Leigh Richardson, Ella Jowitt and Lexi Callaghan

Ms Guy, Learning Leader writes; “I would to nominate Demi-Leigh Richardson and Ella Jowitt for supporting their friend through a difficult time. They have been kind and very understanding. I’d also like to nominate Lexi Callaghan for showing resilience in school. I am proud of all these girls.”
