Progress Star Awards: Part 4

Our Progress Stars Awards are nominated by staff to students who have made significant improvements in all aspects of school life – step targets progress, attendance, effort, our habits, etc. Nominees receive 5 points and a Progress Star badge to wear on their blazer with pride!

We are delighted to share with you our fourth set of nominees…

William Walne, Zahra Imtiaz and Abbie Whitworth

Ms Rogers, Teacher of Languages has nominated these students, stating:

“I would like to nominate William Walne for a Progress Star Award as he has made huge progress since September with his Spanish. I am very impressed with the effort he is putting in and his attitude to learning. Keep it up!

I would also like to nominate Zahra Imitaz and Abbie Whitworth who, despite joining Spanish later, have both made fantastic progress and consistently put in high effort for their retrieval practice. I am very glad they decided to switch to Spanish and the class wouldn’t be the same without them!”

Toby Brown, Thomas Wells, Tyler Lovell, Harley Irwin and Alesha Mahmood

Ms Tanner, Teacher of Maths writes;

“I’d like to nominate the following students for Progress Awards:

Toby Brown in Year 7: Amazing piece of homework and superb attitude to learning.

Thomas Wells in Year 8: Always tries his best every lesson.

Tyler Lovell and Harley Irwin in Year 10: Superb test scores in recent test due to lots of revision.

Alesha Mahmood in Year 11: Excellent revision for mocks.”
