Students Attend the Ernst & Young Foundation Network Event

Across this month the school conducted three visits with Year 10 boys to the Manchester based Ernst & Young’s Foundation, an event designed to inspire young men. There were three speakers delivering information about their jobs – a Paralympic cyclist, founder member of an advertising company and ex-pro footballer who now works as a motivational speaker. All three guests spoke about key traits such as having a goal and being resilient enough to achieve it.

The boys in the crowd listened with real intent and all feedback that they found the session inspiring. The pictures show Cayon Williams stepping out of his comfort zone to stand up and speak in front of 100+ boys of his age from different schools across Manchester, as well as Little Lever School, standing alongside the 3rd guest, Luke Staton. Organisers were very complementary about the manner our students presented themselves in and will be inviting the school back to future events.
