The music department enjoyed a fantastic day out at the Bridgewater Hall last week watching the Halle Orchestra in their Hallé Music for Youth concerts. The focus this year was on Music, Mind and Mood.
The concert looked at different visual images and how music can represent them. It also looked at how music can make us feel. The Hallé were on top form and performed a thoroughly engaging programme ranging from classical music to ballet to film music.
It was a great experience for all students to see and hear; we’re already looking forward already to next years theme!
All students were a credit to the school and themselves and displayed exemplary behaviour throughout the whole trip.
