Little Lever School was generously granted £750 from the Siobhan Dowd Trust to take our students on a book shopping spree!
Ten students were chosen for their outstanding commitment to English lessons and their passionate love of literature. They had £100 each after some more generous help from Waterstones to select books for the school. It was difficult to get them out of the shop, but eventually we returned to with well over 100 hand selected titles for the exciting opening of our new library.
