Year 11 Session 4 Changes Starting After Easter

In order to further support our Year 11s in the final few weeks before the start of the GCSE Summer Exams, we will be providing two additional Session 4 lessons each week during the course of the Summer Term.

The new Session 4s will be focused on Option subjects on Mondays and Tuesdays. The existing Session 4s on Wednesdays and Thursdays will continue, but with a focus on English, Maths or Science subjects.

Session 4s will begin on Tuesday 9th April and will operate at the following times throughout the summer term.

• Mondays: Option Subject Session 4 – finish at 4pm
• Tuesdays: Option Subject Session 4 – finish at 4pm
• Wednesdays: English, Maths or Science Session 4 – finish at 4pm
• Thursdays: English, Maths or Science Session 4 – finish at 3.35pm

Please note that there will be a small group of students who will receive Maths Session 4s across all the four days. These are designed to provide them with additional support based on their current Maths predictions.

The first Session 4 on Tuesday 9th April will be a 60 minute catch-up lesson in their Option C subject. This is due to them missing this session on Monday. Students will simply go to their Option C room at 3pm for this session.
