Celebrating Student Remote Learning Work & Effort

So it’s Day 3 into our Remote Learning Strategy and whilst there’s been a few technical glitches and log in issues which we’re working on trying to rectify, there have been lots of our students successfully accessing and working on line (remote-learning-strategy). We have already been impressed by what students are producing, so we thought we’d start to regularly share what’s going on and celebrate their effort and work. Teachers have been sending in screenshots of what they’ve received.

Leader of English, Ms Hutchinson would like a shout-out in general to all the year 10 students who are already submitting extended English essays on A Christmas Carol. The English team have been blown away by the efforts being shown by the year group. An example of Molly Gunn’s essay is below. Well done Year 10!

Ms Farrimond, Leader of Computing is really impressed with how students are supporting each other on their media assignment this week. Here’s an example of two students setting each other key questions on the same task. Great work!

Ms May writes; my students in my SEMH group have responded really well to the support, resources and tips online.

Mr Cordwell shares this email sent by Charlie Allwood in Year 10 of a photo he has taken and edited over the weekend for his Personal Project called Nature which is his remote learning task this week. Super work, Charlie.
