More Panathlon Games Success!

Eight students competed in a Panathlon New Age Kurling competition yesterday at Bolton Arena against 8 other high schools.
Little Lever had two teams. One team came 6th and the other team made their way to the final. Our 2nd team came away in second place with a Silver Medal and trophy in a nail biting final losing out by 1 point, 2-1 overall after three ends.
Four of our Year 9 pupils were also Youth leaders for the games and did an amazing job.
Well done everyone!

Four of our Year 9 Cambridge National students took part in a Panathlon Challenge at Bolton Arena last Thursday. Aaleigha, Bailey, Ethan and Alfie quickly learned how to play, referee, score and lead a Kurling tournament. They all showed the participants how to play Kurling and successfully delivered the tournament to students with disabilities from a range of different schools. Each game was played out of three. After the games were played, they helped deliver the presentation where they all handed each contestant a medal. They showed fantastic leadership skills throughout the day and it was enjoyed by all participants and leaders.

A big well done to you all.
